On the second Wednesday of every month Richmond Centre invites our 55+ customers to enjoy a movie at the Richmond Centre Famous Players. Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation for the Richmond Food Bank. The doors open at 10:00 am with complementary coffee, and the movie begins at 11:00 am.

The Counterfeiters

This is a true story of the largest counterfeiting operation in history, set up by the Nazis in 1936. Salomon "Sally" Sorowitsch is the king of counterfeiters. And when he is thrown into the Mauthausen concentration camp, he exhibits his exceptional skills and is soon transferred to Sachsenhausen. Upon his arrival he is hand-picked to be a part of a secret mission. But Salomon is faced with a moral dilemma. He must decide whether his actions, which could prolong the war and risk the lives of fellow prisoners, are ultimately the right ones.
